RGB Industries manufactures a range of Australian-made cable covers and cable shields for the protection of electrical cables and conduit in commercial, industrial, infrastructure and electrical applications.
Choose from our standard square cable covers (top hats), trapezium cable shields and semi-circular cable shields, with mains cable covers also available. Standard and custom-manufactured options are available to suit different cable protection requirements
Square Cable Covers / Top Hats
RGB Industries’ square cable covers, commonly referred to as top hats, provide durable physical protection for surface-mounted and exposed electrical cabling.
Our standard range is available from 25 × 25 mm through to 125 × 125 mm, in 1200 mm and 2400 mm lengths, with a choice of Galvabond, powder coated, aluminium and 316 stainless steel construction.
Standard Construction
Standard square cable covers are manufactured with 20 mm fixing flanges to each side and are supplied without pre-drilled mounting holes.

Trapezium Cable Shields
RGB Industries manufactures trapezium cable shields for the physical protection of electrical conduit and cabling in areas where additional protection from impact or damage is required.
Our standard trapezium cable shields are manufactured from 3 mm galvanised steel in 1200 mm and 2400 mm lengths.

RGB Industries manufactures mains cable covers for the physical protection of electrical cabling in commercial, industrial and infrastructure applications.
Our standard mains cable covers are manufactured from 3 mm steel and feature 20 mm fixing flanges, providing a robust protective enclosure around exposed cabling.
A range of standard internal dimensions and lengths is available, with custom mains cable covers also able to be manufactured to suit project-specific dimensions, materials and installation requirements.

Mains Pole Cable Covers
RGB Industries also manufactures a range of mains pole cable covers designed to protect electrical mains, service cables and conduit installed on power distribution poles.
In South Australia, these are commonly used on Stobie poles, while similar electrical distribution structures may be referred to as mains poles or power poles elsewhere in Australia. Our range includes standard conduit covers as well as rectangular edge-mount and face-mount covers for larger cable runs and pole configurations.
Standard options are available to suit a range of conduit and pole sizes, with custom mains pole covers also manufactured for non-standard installations.

Designed to protect vertical conduit and cable runs installed on mains and Stobie poles, with standard models available to suit 20 mm, 25 mm, 32 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm and 63 mm conduit.

RGB Industries’ semi-circular cable shields provide curved physical protection for electrical conduit and cabling while maintaining a compact profile.
Our standard semi-circular cable shield is manufactured from 3 mm galvanised steel to suit 16 mm conduit, with 1200 mm and 2400 mm lengths available. Custom sizes can also be manufactured to suit specific applications.
